Dreyfuss + Blackford completed a major expansion project at this regional medical center. The 52,800-square-foot project added a new state-of-the-art emergency room and radiology facility, as well as upgraded existing spaces. Continuous operation of the existing hospital was a prime concern and the goal of the phasing. This facility provides emergency and trauma care for the Sacramento region in a modern, efficient environment.
The project was accomplished in three phases: Site preparation; construction of new expansion space; and renovation of the existing hospital.
