Architectural Intern

Position Summary: Student, part-time or full-time. Works on any given specific tasks under the direct supervision of any full-time employee. Work tasks often involve organizational tasks and assisting project team members but may also include creative or technical support on projects, based on the capabilities of the individual.
Major Duties & Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with drafting and design work using software like Revit, Rhino, or SketchUp.
- Conducting research on building codes, materials, and zoning regulations.
- Preparing presentations, renderings, and 3D models for client or team review.
- Supporting the development of construction documents and technical drawings.
- Collaborating with project teams during design and planning phases.
- Visiting project sites to take measurements, photographs, or observe progress.
- Organizing and maintaining project files, material samples, and design libraries.
Minimum Qualifications and Characteristics:
- Working to obtain bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively both in written format and oral presentation.
- Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and maintain organization in a changing environment.
Salary DOE and location: $18-25/hr
